Welcome to Episode 9 of the Retro Disney World Podcast: "Building the Golden Dream" - We appreciate your support and hope you have been enjoying each and every episode. Be sure to check out some of the previous shows.
Corrections and Comments - We go back and rehash a little bit about the Town Square Cafe and also who the original designer of the Electrical Water Pageant was. Todd has an oddball thought about a Cuttlefish and we also found out about a very early autograph book at WDW.
Main Topic - The focus this month is on The American Adventure in honor of the Fourth of July holiday. Todd, Brian, JT & How all discuss how the show works and also some of the history leading up to the attraction. Some great information is discussed on each of the eras presented during the show, JT discusses the backstage tour and all discuss the book Building a Better Mouse.

Film Restoration - We take a look at an August of 1972 Magic Kingdom home movie, digitally transferred by Pixcel and restored by our very own Imageworks. How finds some lost trashcans, Brian is amused by a man walking into frame, Todd gets confused about the first American flag and a kid in a funny feather hat walks by.
